This is the Bridge schoolwear website ("Website") which is owned, operated and maintained by Bridge schoolwear ("we", "us"). Our registered address can be found in the ‘about us’ section of the website.
The use of this Website is subject to the following terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") which set out the rules for how we run the Website and which you should read carefully. By using this Website you acknowledge that you have read and you agree to be legally bound by and comply with these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to change the contents of this Website,
including these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice by posting such
changes on the Website. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with
the Terms and Conditions regularly to ensure that you are aware of any changes.
Your use of the Website after a change has been posted will signify your
acceptance of the modified Terms and Conditions.

Whilst we have taken all reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information on this Website, we will not be held responsible regarding the accuracy or completeness of the content of this Website.

3. MAKING A PURCHASE
Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply browse our catalogue here online, clicking on any items for further information and to add to the shopping cart. After you have finished your selections, click on "Basket Symbol" to view your purchases and continue to the checkout. At checkout time you will be asked for a few details that we need in order to process the order.
4. METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept all major credit and debit card payments through PAYMENT SENSE secure online card processing service. We also accept card payments by telephone for credit and debit cards.
Personal and company cheques are also accepted in the name of ‘Bridge schoolwear’.
Direct bank payment is also accepted our bank details are:

Please note that no order will be dispatched for shipping until it is paid for in full.
We aim to despatch goods within 1-2 working days (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) of the order being placed, provided it is placed by 13.00 hours. Orders placed after 13.00 hours will be deemed to have been placed the next working day. This is just an estimated time of delivery, and we will not be liable for any delays in delivery. Time of delivery shall not be of essence.
We will inform you if we cannot despatch goods within 5 working days of the order being placed (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays).
Where Goods are to be supplied from stock, such supply is subject to availability of stocks at the date of your order.
No matter which shipping method you opt for, delivery timescales are from date of shipment from us and not date of order placement (Please see DELIVERY PAGE for further guidance) .
We offer 2 main delivery options:
I) ROYAL MAIL (1st, 2nd and TRACKED SERVICE)
The most cost effective delivery method is Royal Mail. Please note that a signature is not required to confirm receipt. However, some parcels may be tracked through Royal Mail system. Royal Mail state that they "aim to deliver 1st Class & Tracked parcels on a 1-3 day basis", and 2nd Class on a 2-4 day basis but do not guarantee delivery times. If you select this delivery method and you miss your required date, we will not be held responsible.
• Standard Delivery charges are from £2.99 per order, depending on weight of the package (see 'Delivery Page' for details).
• Delivery times not guaranteed with no claim for loss until 14 working days from posting.
• Delivery days Monday to Saturday
• Maximum 1.5KG in weight (we generally use RM Tracked/Interlink Express if weight >1.5KG)
• Typically allow 1 to 5 working days for delivery
• Will need to collect from Post Office if no-one in at delivery time
• Item will be returned to us if not collected from Post Office within 5 working days
• Full On-line tracking service available from Royal Mail website for TRACKED PARCELS.

II) ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY (please see 'Delivery' Page for full terms - 'next working day' from despatch date.)
Royal Mail Special Delivery gives the comfort and security that your order, once dispatched will be received the next working day before 13.00 hours.
• £6.99 per order (upto weight of 100 grams)
• £7.99 per order (between a weight of 100 grams to 500 grams )
• £8.99 per order (between a weight of 500 grams to 1KG)
• £9.99 per order (between a weight of 1KG to 2KG)
• Money Back Guarantee for late delivery
• Maximum 2KG in weight (>2KG we will use Interlink Express)
• Next working day delivery guarantee (before 13.00), from despatch date
• Saturday deliveries to Residential Addresses are possible
• Will need to collect from Post Office if no-one in at delivery time
• Item will be returned to us if not collected from Post Office within 7 days
• On-line tracking service available from Royal Mail website.
• Maximum £500.00 Insurance for loss or damage
• 100% UK coverage (some remote areas - 2 day guarentee)
The following conditions apply to the above options:
A. Delivery Service Upgrades
Should the weight of any UK Tracked or UK Special Delivery consignment be in excess of 1KG in weight, we reserve the right to use a National Courier. The delivery charge will not be any greater than that explained (see I and II) above. The only exception is where the weight of the package exceeds 4KG, whereby we will contact you to inform you of the rate.
B. Loss, Delay & Damaged Goods
We are responsible for shipping and making any claim for loss, damage or delay on your behalf. All claims will be limited to the maximum compensation allowed by the shipping method you choose. All parcels are checked prior to despatch to ensure correct and timely delivery.
If your parcel is undelivered within the period stated in our delivery information above, you should first contact your local sorting office to see if they are holding it.
If your parcel has still not arrived or been returned to us within 14 working days of dispatch (28 working days for international orders), we can either redispatch the item(s) or issue a refund to the full value of your order. We must receive notification from you in writing within 14 days of your order that your parcel has not arrived. Claims made after this time cannot be upheld.
7. BFPO - British Forces Post Office
We are happy to announce to our customers in the Armed Forces that we can deliver your goods via the BFPO network. Please ensure that if your card is registered in the UK, to provide that as your 'Registered Address' and your BFPO address as your 'Delivery Address' (if required).
Please note that the delivery options and timescales relate to delivery to Mill Hill and not to your final destination.
We offer a no quibble 14-day money back guarantee starting from the day after you take delivery of them (In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive). All we ask is that the goods are returned unused, in its original packaging, and with the original invoice. The following procedure must be followed:
Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and provide the following information - full details and invoice number, and why you wish to return the goods. You will then be issued with a refund authorisation number, which you need to send with the returned goods.
You have a legal 'duty of care' in respect of the goods returned and liable for the expense of returning them. We recommend that you use recorded delivery, as 'proof of posting' may be required. Please mark the parcel 'returns' and package the goods neatly.
We try to make refunds within one week of receipt, but guarantee to make all refunds within 14 calendar days from receipt of goods. Please note that we will not be liable for any interest payments as refunds may fall outside debit/credit card timescales.
Exchanged Items - Customers will be liable for P&P on any replacement items. This will range from £2.50 to £3.99 (max), depending on the weight of the parcel.
SHORT OR DAMAGED GOODS
Goods that are either faulty/damaged or short in quantity must be notified to us within 24 hours of delivery. This may be done either by phone or e-mail.
Please note that your statutory rights are not affected by the above conditions.
9. PRODUCT GUARENTEE
All of our products come with our 30-day guarantee where you may return faulty goods for exchange or refund of original purchase price. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
10. LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising in relation to this Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Where applicable, VAT is included in the product prices. Please note that general children’s clothing is zero-rated for VAT purposes.
Bridge school wear does not disclose buyer’s information to third parties.
Information will be used to process the buyer’s order and fulfill the delivery function. In future, the information may be used for special promotions in which instance; the buyer will have a facility to un-subscribe from the mail-list.
13. DELIVERY OUTSIDE UK
Where delivery is made outside UK, any delay caused by Customs will invalidate delivery timescales by carriers. We will not be held responsible for such delays. Any custom payments due, if any, will be bourne by the customer.
